I just climbed Mt. Yonah last Wednesday. It-was-HARD. I've been climbing stairs for over 45 days in a row and Yonah was still hard. I took women up Mt. Yonah last year, and it was HARD. Mountains ARE hard.
I think when we apply ourselves and train and prepare we are always SHOCKED when it turns out to be much harder than we thought.
Every time I climb Mt. Yonah I think I'm in better shape for it. I probably am! But it's STILL just as hard. Mountain climbing is HARD.
No matter how ready you are, no matter how much you have prepared, if you are climbing Mt. Yonah tomorrow it will be hard!
Every Triathlon I do, I think going in, “THIS time the swim be easier!” Guess what I just did a long swim at Tugaloo Olympic distance and it was the hardest swim yet for me!
