I turned 60 this year and I wanted to follow through on a desire to get a tattoo. I'd been searching for the words I would carry with me for the rest of my life, literally. When I came upon this... which I've read so many other times, this time too many pieces came together for me.
“Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people will not feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone, and as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” - Marianne Williamson

*We were meant to shine!

Recently, I was sitting on the deck working on some down time. Down-time is where I pull away and rest my body, soul and spirit. I live in constant pouring out, so recharging is now very much a main player in my world. I was just quiet and I hear in my head..."1,000watts of brilliance".
I'd never heard such a statement before, and my heartrate actually picked up and a sense of anticipation came upon me. Another thing I've learned to do is keep pen and paper near by...I wrote it down. I sensed there was something so very important about this.
I got up and made a graphic about it.
