In the absence of sugars and starches I've FOUND FREEDOM...On a low carb, high fat diet that leads to a nutritional state of ketosis, I've FOUND FREEDOM. Food gets quiet, cravings loosen up their grip and go quiet. High fat foods where there is no starchy carbs present allows me to lose weight, eat less and feel FREEDOM!
Yes, there is a struggle to get it all up and rolling, but after 3-5 days you enter nutritional ketosis and things really do change. Ketosis is real. When you are in, food is quiet. When you slip back out from overeating carbs or too much protein, your tired, lethargic, and craving food...all the time again! Back in the struggle!
It's been 18 months of being either in diet-mode or maintenance-mode. I've done the work, got the size 6 jeans and know the thrill of staying in those jeans.
