It sure was mine. As I continue to unwind this past season of “round the clock” eating I can honestly POINT to sweeteners as the culprit. Getting them out and not relying on them emotionally is really hard work, but in that process within 3 days of stopping them, I FIND CLARITY!
I’m distracted by Work NOT CRAVINGS!
I can STICK TO the plan instead of abort for a sugar-free this or that.
I can lose weight again!
Hours go by now where I don’t think about food or seek to fill space with food. Hours and hours go by and I’m at peace again. I had lost that peace. I’d lost control of sweeteners and started USING them to feel good, again. Food and Sweeteners were never meant to be USED emotionally. But most of us fall into that trap of reaching for food to quickly ease something emotionally. Me included. Mostly sugar-free gum and diet Pepsi’s were ruling my days. Now.
I forget to eat instead of WATCH THE CLOCK for my next opportunity!
There is a lot of literature out there on Sweeteners and IN SOME PEOPLE I CAUSES CRAVINGS is always mentioned. IN ME IT DOES…
At first use the sweeteners and treats to get going and then remove them. Use them at MAJOR holidays and then remove them. If you do remove them, you’ll find yourself without cravings and often able to stretch out the distance between meals.
