It’s Valentines Day!
I’m not thinking about chocolate, I’m thinking about getting the LOVE & FORGIVENESS to myself.
Big words that are dropped often now are, “Self-care” and “Self-Love”. I hear people talking about them all the time. They are “trending” and trendy!
It’s a journey to forgive yourself for those things you willingly do. I know! I made myself obese and addicted! It didn’t just fall from the sky I willingly participated. That’s a HARD one to forgive.
In my studies over the last 4 yrs I’ve come to understand: “It’s the food! Once I realized I was picking problematic foods and it became a problem, I had to change the food to change the problem . I’m the only one who can. Today’s foods cause problems and are addictive. If you think you might have a problem, you probably do! There is HOPE!
IT BEGINS BY LOVING YOURSELF ENOUGH TO EMBRACE TRUTH, FORGIVE YOURSELF, REACH OUT FOR HELP AND SLOWLY CONSISTENTLY CHANGE.
Here are my 3 Truths. (Tips sound too shallow)
#1 My favorite foods ARE highly addictive.
I use to return to them over and over and have no control over them once I started eating that “one bite.”
#2 Remove and Rebuild, one step at a time.
Seriously one-step-at a time. Love & Forgive yourself back to life by removing controlling foods.
#3 Love and Forgive yourself enough to RISE up and LIVE! Forgive-yourself! Love-yourself! You are worth it!

Today is Valentines Day! I am smiling. I forgive where I was, I’ve learned why I was there and I love today! I love how I eat, I love who I am! I love my self-control. I love getting up and doing things I will be proud of! I love it all, so I will take care of it. I’m the addict who KNOWS what will happen if I just eat that one bite. Just that one chocolate, that one glass of wine, that one Red Velvet crumb. I love my new life and myself too much to given in to the noise and lies of sugar and starches!
