Just getting the arrow to the target took all I had. My first few attempts at shooting an arrow really showed me I did NOT have a clue. To pass the class I had to get that arrow on the target and the closer to the bullseye the better.
At 17 I had no real understanding that I had to develop my UNDERSTANDING of what was going on here. So many people hop on a popular diet without much understanding. No wonder it doesn’t work, you didn’t work it RIGHT.
At 17 I had no idea how to get strong so I could handle the demands of archery. It requires a physical strength, an ability to focus under stress and ability to still yourself and your aim. So does dieting.
It took more than a few classes to figure it all out and get that arrow to take flight. Then it was about learning how to get the arrow to GO STRAIGHT.
If you are in diet mode, develop the skills that will serve that vision and keep shooting arrows. Soon a skill set will develop that will get you to your target.
