At Find Your Food we've all been up and moving, creating a demand on our metabolism to train it to burn fat...We do this early in the morning on an empty stomach. It started with me! I went out on a long bike ride, on an empty stomach and ended up in ketosis. That fragile state of fat burning is often elusive when not pursued with great focus! Even though my carbs are low on lowcarb, they had been keeping me in a sugar burning metabolism, with few carbs to feast upon. Always tired and hungry again...I went on a training ride and SLIPPED into fat-burning mode. 60 miles and I came off the bike NOT hungry! Almost passed on dinner that night, the super highway back to the fat was OPEN!!!
It dawned on me...If I exercise on an empty stomach I will stimulate fat-burning. So I can assist my body in the right direction. Then I will use carb-control all day long to stay in a fat-burning metabolism. Keeping that super highway back to the fat open and operating!
Exercise went from being a burden, something I had to do to lose weight to something I did to stimulate my fat burning metabolism. Shifting my paradigm shifted something!
Exercise went from being a weight loss CHORE to a place I simply PUT A DEMAND on my metabolism. What I didn't see coming was the HUGE sense of satisfaction, self-pride and accomplishment I'd be feeling an HOUR later!!!
"Don't think calories" I say to my girls. "Do NOT think weight loss. THINK "CREATE A DEMAND"...on my metabolism. Start the day in ketosis, end the day in ketosis. USE exercise to assist this process!!! Stimulate metabolism to burn fat by exercising on an empty stomach. Climb UP that neighborhood hill! Don't stroll WALK!
I'm seeing photos and people sharing like they have NEVER shared at Find Your Food. I see the pride from accomplishing that's come upon them. It's doing more good than they though!
I've got friends walking at the park, climbing flights of stairs to their office, slipping into pools, heading down to the basement and equipment! I've got friends heading to the mall to walk. People of all shapes and sizes MOVING...Moving back to the FAT! Training their bodies to burn fat and use ketones!
