WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU LISTENING TO?
The inner noise comes together and speaks to you...It's like a playlist and it's playing across your inner thoughts. Is it positive? Or full of negativity and regret!
Recently I was watching my 26 yr old. We were preparing for a long 50mi bike ride and she was hard at work fiddling with her phone. Me: what are you doing over there? Her: I'm making my playlist. Me: why? Her: So it's JUST right it will help me to ride.
The playlist in this case was a TOOL to motivate and keep her in the right head space! It worked! But other times there is a different play list playing from deep inside and it says "You didn't do this and this and this." It's a negative place. You know that negative place? Well it drags enough TRUTH into the equation to get you to listen and soon you are agreeing and shutting down losing your faith...and it can happen over and over and we don't even realize it.
With weight loss You NEED to create a positive playlist and you need to add each little victory to that playlist. You need to constantly cultivate the POSITIVE and create positive routines to feed yourself with. Here are a few tips:
#1 Visit your vision and if you don't have one, take a bit of time and sit down with your WHY. Why are you on a diet? What do you really want to accomplish and what are you willing to do to get it? Put THAT on the playlist!
#2 Daily look for the little victories! Those small things you DID! The moments you are proud, list them OUT Do the work! Put THOSE on the plalylist
#3 Find a Louder voice and listen! Seek out videos or podcast that support the diet you are on! Come to know why what you are doing works. Put THAT on your playlist!
