#1 Confidence is earned!
I'd slipped away from being active, being creative, living with purpose and I'd lost my confidence along the way. I had gotten so tangled up with food, and couldn't muster enough control to diet. I'd lost my confidence in myself because of it! Now I was pretending... I hate to pretend to be "ok" but I was having to pretend all the time because I had lost almost all confidence in myself BECAUSE I'd stopped earning confidence! I'd stopped doing the things that stirred up healthy self-pride. It's easier than you think to restore it though! You have to MOVE! You have to get up and rolling again! Know this every step counts and it begins to build up your confidence! So go EARN IT BACK!
#2 Small Goals & Big Dreams
Small goals are where you begin to move forward and back to your dreams! "I want to get up and walk in the morning!" (follow through!) "I want to spend time on my vision board tonight" (follow through) "I want to get together for coffee with you" (you get it, follow through). Small steps can lead you back to your big dreams. So this next step is the MOST IMPORTANT ONE...5,4,3,2,1 Get up and move-follow through! This will build confidence and lead you to the bigger dreams again!
#3 Consistency is Key
Be consistent! Commit to becoming consistent. Pick ONE thing and establish it back in your life. A confidence will begin to flow from that place. Make it a small thing so you can't help but achieve! Keep at it. It's the little things! They are so powerful!
What ever you get up and rolling, KEEP IT ROLLING...Take advantage of momentum, if the hardest step is the 1st step, now all you have to do is establish consistency! This builds confidence!
When I removed controlling foods I was able to rebuild my self-control and achieve again with food, exercise and life! That has truly changed my confidence. Because I earned it one day at a time, I CAN TRUST IT!
