I've just completed 2 straight weeks in ketosis.
I feel great and food is totally quiet. Consistency is back! I feel back in control. Ketosis gives me back an edge to keep making good choices. Simple, keto-clean choices. Energy abounds, but the kind of energy that is sustainable. No ups and downs. Sleep is sound.
I NEEDED KETOSIS!
My productivity and clarity are through the roof. Who needs another shot of espresso when you can have this naturally? Who needs 5 hr energy shots? Who needs the Drive-thru at Starbucks? Who needs another Stimulant? I DO NOT (finally)
I NEEDED KETOSIS
Cravings have finally let me go! No battling the desire for a sweet (SF) treat...Sweeteners are out and ketosis is in and all the bells and whistles have gone silent. I'm not craving anything=peace.
Hunger? I'm eating less and less often. The problems with overeating have subsided. Boy I sure needed the advantage ketosis gives me because it suppresses my appetite!
BOY OH BOY! DID I NEED KETOSIS
2 weeks ago I was struggling ALL day, everyday because I was out of ketosis. I grabbed a diet buddy we committed to 37 days together.
HERE IS WHAT HAPPENED:
#1 We listed out HOW we would get in ketosis. I have to lower my carbs to 20g a day. I have to eliminate every food that triggers overeating. I have remove sweeteners (SF).
#2 We committed to measuring our ketones to confirm we were in ketosis. I used urine sticks for a few days and then I tested my blood ketones with my new Keto-Mojo. The goal was to get there and KNOW you were. (My diet buddy thought she was and was shocked when the blood ketones said she wasn't. She has tightened it up a bit more and now she is there! And there has benefits)
#3 We made this all about Ketosis NOT weight loss. We both wanted control so we could remove problematic foods and habits but we NEEDED ketosis to give us that edge-of-control!
We are now enjoying "Consistent Ketosis". This is HOW I lost 85lbs I stayed in ketosis and in control. Somewhere along the lines I let up and lost it.
