Early diet days are all about survival. Chase that dream, more will follow.
The day I removed controlling foods and cleaned off my plate, I really didn't have a dream in my heart. I was only "there" for my cousin who needed a diet partner. A month later I was through all the detoxing and settling in, and I did feel a little better and the bad foods were still out.
My dream was "JUST MAKE IT THROUGH THE DAY"...That was literally the dream I was chasing.
This went on for 4 months. Then one day I woke to wanting MORE. I want the benefits, that became the dream and I chased it!
I'd already faced "I can't go back, even if I don't lose any weight, I can't go back to losing control again. I can't go back to depression and isolation again."
At 4 months into a low carb approach I was over eating proteins and I didn't have enough fat on my plate to make food quiet. But when I read about Keto, I realized the benefits of energy and appetite suppression where not in my hands. I stepped it up, putting all food on the scale and eating to a whole new set of macros. Weight started dropping and....energy rose to a long forgotten level.
It was RIGHT THEN AND THERE that I was ready for a dream! Ready to Dream! Ready to LIVE AND BELIEVE AGAIN!
In the beginning, let's be honest our dream is just to get through the day with our diets in tact! What I want you to know is this, THAT'S A GREAT PLACE TO START...Dreams will come and you will want more...but for now, make food work is a great dream!
I became active on social media, I started contributing with comments. I slowly started to share here and there...and help out with the groups I was in. When I reached goal, and the future waited, I was ready to follow a dream of helping others.
A year from now, if you don't let up you will be living a whole new lifestyle. Your health will have improved, your energy and confidence will be in a whole new place. A dream will be more than possible!
