Without a doubt, this is one of the most transformative works I've seen in a while.
I've popped out of the Foodie/Keto pool...and am swimming some laps and sitting in the sun by the "Self-Development" pool....Catching this gal's cool vibe. I wanted to share this very articulate woman and a bit of her story and this simple little 5 second rule that we could all spend some time considering. "HOW to move"...something we're constantly working on. How do I overcome a temptation? "5,4,3,2,1..MOVE" Then she hits on something that's special to me, "Self-Development"....so nicely put I wanted to share it.
We all need to develop ourselves not just our skill set. We need to not only know our diets but ourselves too. Listen, I am constantly refining my message, and working on differing platforms to deliver that message and I can easily OVERLOOK developing myself. It's like we fill up our body with food, but we need to feed our soul and nourish our self growth!
Monday morning after posting on my Find your Food facebook page, I was asked by my friend Reece, if I knew about Mel Robbins and "The 5 Sec Rule". Well I've done nothing but read her work, watch her Ted X talk and enjoy absorbing the content on the 5 sec rule. It's simple, and brilliant...But today I'm really enjoying this Lewis Howes' interview. (Around minute 45 she starts to share about self-development).
One of my goals this year is to PROMOTE others. People, Product and Content that has impacted my life. I work hard on NOT missing an opportunity to share with you things that have been transformational for me.
