Peace with food? Peace with myself and where I am? Peace that brings acceptance for what I've accomplished? All of these are important...Peace comes from things being in place.
Out of Place, out of Peace!
When I keep food in it's place and stay within a ketogenic approach, food remains quiet and peaceful. I've got this phrase, "food gets quiet"...But it doesn't stay quiet because We don't stay quiet! Life comes banging on our door it stresses us out and we have removed food as an option for comfort!
Peace with food comes from keeping food in it's place!
We've made food our drug, our companion, our soother, our friend. We've become addicted to common every day twinkies and drive thru's! We're out of place with our food and out of peace, and the weight keeps piling on...it's a terrible cycle, one so many of us know so well. We're trapped in it and we lose hope and just give in. No hope! No peace...just food...It doesn't really even taste good any more.
A low carb approach where you remove sugars and starches change my entire life! I removed problem foods and that reduced the problem to the point where I don't have an on-going problem with food now.
Consider this approach. It will give you peace with food again. Yes, you will have to say goodbye to your old friends the sweets and treats...But you will make new friends with whole foods, healthy fats and energy that has long been even hoped for. You will quiet food and find peace with it again...all while putting butter on things...
