It's true! Food was so controlling, I never could stop after one piece of pizza, I was only finished when I was too full to continue? Talk about feeling bad, it was always a DOUBLE-WHAMMY...My body hurt from too much food, and emotionally waves of shame started to flood me...Throw in the fact that within an hour I KNEW I'd be looking for something to finish it all off with...A sweet.
I was out of control!
3 years ago, I removed controlling foods from my diet. Sugars and Starches (everybody asks). Todays' sugars and starches ARE so hard to avoid, or control. My diet was mostly made up of breads, cereals, sandwiches, burgers, Chinese, tacos, and casseroles to make our pennies go farther. Cheap and Fast! Because I was HUNGRY and... mostly because I WAS TOO TIRED TO COOK, I WAS JUST PLAIN TOO TIRED PERIOD.
That tiredness is gone!
That out of control living, is over!
I'm asked so what do you eat? I eat whole foods, healthy fats and clean carbs. I eat only when I am hungry, and boy don't get me started on how HUNGRY I was with those other foods. I stop when I am full. I eat LESS and I eat LESS often. Food is enjoyable and controllable.
So....when you lose 85lbs and start to thrive everybody notices. People come up to you and ask over and over, "what did you do, you look great"...At first it was a little shocking and I was intimidated and then I realized my story could help others, what I have done might really make a difference for others. IT HAS! For 2 yrs I've been sharing my story, helping others get started and facilitated small group support. Find Your Food is 2 yrs old this month. So many people have removed controlling carbs and processed foods and sugars that were demonizing them. They've found amazing whole foods, and healthy enjoyable fats. They've experienced the suppression of appetite and the quieting of so many cravings and the energy? Oh do they have energy!

2018 is almost here! We'll be launching "GIve me 30 days" program, with a booklet and support options if you'd like to do what many have done, remove controlling foods! I've not go gimmicks, no special supplements or shakes. No tricks or spin, just a group of real people with real change!
