DO YOU NEED THAT COOKIE OR DO YOU NEED THE ENERGY?
Something happened when "feeling better was more important than, "what's for dinner?"...
I don't even know where to begin! I haven't felt this good in months! Day 28 of deep ketosis and I'm still astounded at how much seamless consistent energy has crept back in my daily life. My head is clear there is no food fog! I'm not overrun with lethargy from overeating and guilt from that behavior. I feel BETTER and I feel confident and HAVE ENERGY!
Ketosis in my body quiets food and restores order and control. There is energy to tackle my life and a confidence to say Yes! to opportunities. ENERGY is consistent.
I look at those cookies above and I don't see something evil, I see my cravings, my attempt to stay away, I see myself caving in and eating them, and I see myself going back for more and more. All the consumption led to guilt, and fatigue. Guilt at having given up my resolve and commitment, fatigue from the sugar and carb crash, and NO ENERGY!
Now I've NOT had a cookie made with carbs and sugars for 35 months, but I have overeaten keto cookies where I let my carb counts climb and when carbs climb my body shifts back out of a fat burning metabolism to the limitations and demands of a sugar-burning meatbolism and my energy and confidence simply CRASH, and food takes control all over again.
For the last 28 days I've done things to get back into this ketogenic state that gives me unlimited energy, very little hunger and no cravings!
