At the Core of it all
There is CONSISTENCY
You have to be consistent when you are dealing with your body. You wake up one day and declare! TODAY IS THE DAY! I start my diet, I will lose weight, I will change forever...only to be barely hanging on by lunch time and then totally wipe out by mid afternoon and cave in at the drive-thru at 5p...then you say the most famous word in "diet-world"...Tomorrow! I'll start tomorrow. You go to bed STUFFED, well past full. Discouraged, and defeated all over again. Tomorrow looms in the distance...and you can only hope...
How will you get through today on a diet? Focus! Make a plan. Make a REALISTIC plan and focus only on this 24hrs that you are in...and do everything to complete the day on your diet...Repeat.

BELIEVE in what you are doing...Believe in the way of eating you have picked. Study to understand. That's what creates belief. Take the time to listen to your body's response. That creates belief! Seeing is believing for many...Find what works and work it.
At the Core
Having changed my life over the last 22 months, I can tell you at the Core of it all are these 3 factors. They are actually 3 choices. You CHOOSE to be consistent or not. You CHOOSE to focus or accept distraction. You CHOOSE to believe or doubt. Each of these factors must be ESTABLISHED and when you do, they will take root and BE THERE FOR YOU...they're called habits.
