When feeling better becomes so very important...
I often get asked if there was a pivotal moment, that made me just chuck my obesity for better days. I'm afraid it wasn't that noble... It wasn't like that. It was a choice made during a conversation with my cousin. We just decided to go ahead and go back to low carb together. Of course we were both so excited to be doing it together. We raced around gathering our food. Put a start date on the calendar and then it happened...we started a diet that's turned into a way of eating. We don't eat sugar any more. We no longer eat problematic, controlling carbs. We've been living this way for 22 months now.
What has kept us on plan?
Feeling good! We both feel good. It's a feeling that's been a long time in coming. There is this moment with low carb where you just all of a sudden feel so much better! The food is so much more managable and control seems to slip back into our hands.
Now that I'm coaching people from so many corners of the world I see that feeling come to them too.

Sugar and Carbs ARE in control!
I like to keep it that simple. I feel good. I couldn't find that with the best pizza in town, the coldest beer on tap or the sweetest treat I could consume.
