I'm the classic introvert, I need to restore in solitude. I carve out time alone to revive, to think, and restore order. Find Your Food has filled most of my free time. It's set up in a way where I can always stay occupied. In that quiet I reflect on how we all need to reclaim the calm! Weight loss is a journey that can easily be rushed through almost desperately, especially if the only objective IS weight loss. It's not safe, it's not smart!
"We've become so desperate about our weight that we don't always place HEALTH at the cornerstone." - Kristie Sullivan
We get so darn in a hurry to make those scales move, jumping on any suggestion that moves that we sacrifice calm. Working diligently for one, and only ONE thing....that scale. We're not at peace, often not that much in control and we're certainly not calm. In truth, this is a very UNSUSTAINABLE place! Which is another reason so many quit on diets...there is no sustainability to these frenzied actions.
Reclaim the calm!
Take the time to allow vision of WHO you want to be, WHERE you want to be and WHY you want to be that, to grow inside.
Vision will take you well past short term scales into creating direction for your life.
Make time to reclaim the calm, and spend time in it, being reassured from the direction of your vision. Take a deep breath. Release!
Spend time looking over the sustainability of your foods, your food prep, and your activity level.
