After I lost over 80lbs I was seeking a way to sustain weight loss and focus. I heard "Mentor others" in my spirit. Which led to hearing "Find your Food"...I started a blog just to answer questions and offer a few ideas here or there....6 months later, 1,000s of hits, a community on Fb that will go over 350 people today...and building a team of admins. Things are moving along!
What makes me tick?
So 19 mos ago, I was obese, depressed, withdrawn and very very inactive. I came to the end of that...and reached for what always worked before....Low carb. 3 months later, post-menopausal I was certain I'd missed the weight loss boat...Sugars were out, food was quiet, but I wasn't losing weight. So I started a search which led me to Keto. And the weight started coming off, as I strictly began a more measured approach...Weighing myself, my food, and reading everything under the sun! 50lbs down in 3 months. Then i started, walking and that led to biking which led me back to triathlon training and 1 event.... I hit maintenance and have been there since Sept 15.
Envision: YOU can get free of sugars, reduced medications, maybe even reverse Ty2Diabetes. You can eat fats and low carbs and begin to find a freedom you didn't think possible. Food will go from being a problem to the solution!
Encourage: Everything has changed. I coach clients. I work along side and partner with a group of gals who help me. I seek to build a site that is an amazing resource and keep community flowing over at Facebook. There are excellent communities on Facebook and I'm always seeking out the leaders to learn from.
Equip: I'm partnering with @ketosouth who is a whizz in the kitchen...and all things keto and her work and videos will have their very own place on the ketosouth tab.
