Acceptance has been a real game-changer in my diet life.
If you are a yo-yo dieter, maybe you need to accept certain foods ARE a problem.
If you can lose it all, but you can't keep it off, because you go back to all your old favorites, maybe it's the food and you need to accept some foods you can't control?
If you are never satisfied with your weight or appearance and can't find rest, maybe there's a bigger problem with self-acceptance?
These ARE the deeper issues of obesity.
I will never forget once I really got in the groove, once a ketogenic diet really clicked, I really reigned myself in and faced the fact I needed to accept that THIS FOOD WORKS FOR ME... and then I pulled out the matches. Time to burn the bridge!
I accepted there WAS a problem!
Certain foods were problematic and I HAD a problem controlling them.
I came to rest once I worked through all of that.
Acceptance leads to rest and change.
What do you need to accept?
